🤘🏻Internal Nightly Branch!#
We are opening access to our internal build branch on Steam (Nightly). This branch is updated daily with the latest features but not fully QA’d (expect bugs).
- In your Steam Library, right click on HELIX → Properties → Betas
- Use this beta access code:
HelixNightly2025 - Select the
Nightlybranch and then Play HELIX
You can always switch back to our stable build, however, please note that we have retired the Pre-Alpha branch and to switch back you now need to select “None” in the Betas tab instead.

- Custom Mesh Undo/Redo added in Character Creator, making it easier to experiment with shapes.

As promised last week and as per close feedback from some of our most vocal pre-alpha testers, we made a major overhaul of our docs to be much easier to follow. Check them out (as of now links are only viewable with those with pre-alpha tester role):

When you're importing content from Fab into HELIX:
- Common Issues importing asets from Fab to HELIX
- Replace materials from Fab with HELIX default materials
Make sure you are on the latest nightly beta before following the tutorials!

🐞 Bug Fixes#
- Added temporary fix for mouse cursor displaying after closing Character Creator in Creator Kit.
- Fixed colour picker appearing on items that don’t actually support colour customisation in Character Creator.
- Fixed multiple replication and desync issues on listen/dedicated servers.
- Fixed proxy desync when equipping or swapping weapons.
- Fixed door and material desyncs across vehicles.
- Fixed mouse input loss and focus issues in menus and CC.
- Fixed log spam and obsolete dependency warnings.
- Fixed gravity, collision, and steering inconsistencies.
- Fixed missing and outdated data assets in Character Creator.
- Fixed various animation and material bugs in tuning and CK.
