🤘🏻Internal Nightly Branch!#

We are opening access to our internal build branch on Steam (Nightly). This branch is updated daily with the latest features but not fully QA’d (expect bugs).

  1. In your Steam Library, right click on HELIX → Properties → Betas
  2. Use this beta access code: HelixNightly2025
  3. Select the Nightly branch and then Play HELIX

You can always switch back to our stable build, however, please note that we have retired the Pre-Alpha branch and to switch back you now need to select “None” in the Betas tab instead.

🎮Gameplay & Menus#

  • WebUI input and focus handling refined for better responsiveness.
  • Voice chat has been rebuilt with improved clarity and proximity support — no more crackling or silence, just smooth in-game communication.

🚗Vehicles#

  • Improved replication and vehicle physics stability on servers.
  • Updated materials, collisions, and door behaviour across multiple vehicles.

🎨Character & Character Creator#

  • Custom Mesh Undo/Redo added in Character Creator, making it easier to experiment with shapes.
  • Improved camera focus and character preview stability in Character Creator.

  • Security and permission improvements for creator-specific folders.
  • Build stability and performance improvements across core systems.
  • Faster startup and smoother rendering with updated DLSS plugin.

🐞 Bug Fixes#

  • Added temporary fix for mouse cursor displaying after closing Character Creator in Creator Kit.
  • Fixed colour picker appearing on items that don’t actually support colour customisation in Character Creator.
  • Fixed multiple replication and desync issues on listen/dedicated servers.
  • Fixed proxy desync when equipping or swapping weapons.
  • Fixed door and material desyncs across vehicles.
  • Fixed mouse input loss and focus issues in menus and CC.
  • Fixed log spam and obsolete dependency warnings.
  • Fixed gravity, collision, and steering inconsistencies.
  • Fixed missing and outdated data assets in Character Creator.
  • Fixed various animation and material bugs in tuning and CK.
